A LITTLE ABOUT DONI RAVEN

From a misty mountaintop, to a darkened canopy floor, stare deep within to a burning fire… From the smoke that rises the wings of the Raven are revealed with a message…Time to heal the pain… Set your wrongs to right…

Uniquely original compositions of love and loss, good and evil backed by raw acoustics, edgy electrics and engaging vocals. singer songwriter Doni Raven delivers his live performance with raw masculine energy and intensely honest lyrics which cut deep into the heart of the listener.

Raven’s latest works come together in his first solo studio album written and recorded at Wilson’s Creek in the Byron Bay Hinterland. The Wilson Diary is due for release in 2015 and includes Raven’s popular song Butcher Bird which featured at the 2014 Mullumbimby Music Festival alongside renowned musical director Peter Lehner and The Biggest Little Town Choir. In September 2014 The Doni Raven Band also performed at The Living Earth Festival and has appeared at various venues and community events around Northern Rivers.

Embarking on his musical career in his early twenties Doni Raven appeared as front man for various rock bands at music venues around Sydney. The Doni Raven band released The Blackjack Wolfpack and performed at scores of venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and more recently northern NSW. Now based in the Byron Bay Hinterland.
